This Samurai sword features the distinctive Unokubi-Zukuri blade shape, often described as resembling the neck of a cormorant. Hand-forged from 1060 carbon steel, it is designed for display, collection, iaito and kendo practice, and appreciation of Japanese sword-inspired craftsmanship.
The Unokubi-Zukuri profile creates a lighter visual silhouette while the double Bo-Hi grooves on both sides add depth and traditional character. The result is a collectible katana with a clear historical influence and a distinctive profile.
The tsuka handle uses details inspired by traditional construction, including rayskin and two mekugi pegs, giving the katana a classic presentation for collectors and decor settings.

Gute Ware!!Wirklich ein sehr schönes Katana. Es ist überraschend gut verarbeitet. Was kann man für den Preis besseres erwarten? Eigentlich ist es der Wahnsinn. PS: Und natürlich ist es kein Spielzeug für Kinder oder Jugendliche, es ist scharf wie ein Rasiermesser, es zerschneidet die Pappe des Kartons wie Butter!!

Good quality for the priceIts a good 1060 steel blade for its price. It is sharp and full tang The saya doesnt fit very well since it got loose also the tsuka wrapping is tight enough overall very good for the price

Nice oneThe katana is as described, the quality is good for the price. Everything fits nicely, nothing is loose, only the tsuba was a little frayed, but that's the beauty of handmade if you ask me. I haven't tested the sharpness yet. I can't wait to display it in my new Apartment.
