Product Description:
This samurai katana is hand-forged from folded Damascus steel and finished with a darker, more rugged visual character. It is intended for collection, display, iaito and kendo practice, and appreciation of Japanese sword-inspired craftsmanship.
The Shobu-Zukuri blade profile gives the piece a flowing silhouette. The dark forged texture and visible Damascus pattern create a distinctive look that stands apart from more polished swords.
The Shinogi area is intentionally left with a less polished finish to preserve part of the raw forging texture. This design choice creates contrast between the blade surfaces and gives the katana a more aged, character-rich appearance.
The Tsuka handle uses a hardwood core with genuine rayskin and is secured with dual Mekugi pegs, reflecting traditional construction details for display and collector appreciation.
EU Local Advantage:
Ships from our Germany warehouse for faster delivery within the European Union. VAT is included where applicable.
Important Notices for Buyers:
Complimentary Accessory: Each piece includes a random traditional Japanese sword bag at no extra cost.
Steel Maintenance: Periodic light oiling is recommended to help preserve the dark Damascus finish during long-term display.
Handmade Craftsmanship Variance: Because each piece is handmade, small variations in measurements, finish, and fittings may occur.
All prices include VAT where applicable.

It looks nice. Pity that we are not so fond of the snake thing so have to return and order different one. But the item itself seems is with good quality. FYI, the package was damaged when delivered.
